Abstract:
A power conversion device comprises a converter-inverter unit 14 configured of a series connection of a converter 10 converting AC power to DC power and an inverter 12 converting the DC power converted by the converter 10 to AC power. Between the converter 10 and the inverter 12, a capacitor unit 11 equipped with a capacitor cell 11a for storing the DC power converted by the converter 10 is provided. A first conductor electrically connected to one electrode of the capacitor cell 11a and a second conductor electrically connected to the other electrode of the capacitor cell 11a are led out from the capacitor unit 11. The first conductor is directly connected to positive electrode-side capacitor connection terminals PCT1, PCT2 of the converter 10 and to positive electrode-side capacitor connection terminals PIT1, PIT2, PIT3 of the inverter 12. The second conductor is directly connected to negative electrode-side capacitor connection terminals NCT1, NCT2 of the converter 10 and to negative electrode-side capacitor connection terminals NIT1, NIT2, NIT3 of the inverter 12.
