Abstract:
A power conversion device is provided with: a rectifier circuit (10) having a plurality of switching elements (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4) and converting AC power to DC power; a current detection unit (20) for detecting an AC current value (Iout); and a control unit (30) for transmitting an ON signal to the rectifier circuit on the basis of the relationship between the AC current value and a current threshold value. The control unit sets at least a first current threshold value and a second current threshold value. Whereas the control unit transmits the ON signal to the rectifier circuit on the basis of the fact that the absolute value of the AC current value has exceeded the absolute value of the first current threshold value in order to bring a part of the switching elements into an on state, the control unit stops transmitting the ON signal to the rectifier circuit on the basis of the fact that the absolute value of the AC current value has become less than the absolute value of the second current threshold value in order to bring a part of the switching elements into an off state.
