Abstract:
Each DC/DC converter (10) of the present invention comprises: a transformer (3); first and second switching circuits (4, 5) that comprise a plurality of legs that comprise a plurality of semiconductor switching elements; capacitors (6, 7); a discharge circuit (8) that is connected in parallel to capacitor (7), which is on a secondary side; and a bypass switch (9) for bypassing capacitor (7). Upon detecting a malfunction at the semiconductor switching elements (Q1, Q2), a control circuit (20) turns all of the semiconductor switching elements (Q1) of the first switching circuit (4) OFF and, after discharging capacitor (7) via the discharge circuit (8), performs control to energize the bypass circuit (9) and thereby causes a short between secondary-side terminals and bypasses capacitor (7).
