Abstract:
Provided is a power conversion device used in an electric motor drive system having inverters connected in parallel, said power conversion device identifying a laid cable impedance by using a test pulse and optimizing a cross current suppression control gain, thereby eliminating a coupling reactor. An electric motor drive system 1 has A- and B-bank inverters 20A, 20B, the outputs of which are connected in parallel, wherein: before operation, a test pulse is output to the A- and B-bank inverters from a drive control unit 30 equipped with a PWM controller 33; a laid cable impedance is identified from the DC voltage Vdc and the response currents IA, IB obtained when the test pulse is output; an adjustment gain is calculated from the ratio of the laid cable impedance to a specified cable impedance and is optimized by multiplying a proportional gain KP; an on-delay value based on the already optimized adjustment gain GL×KP is calculated during the operation; and a gate signal is output that is corrected by the on-delay value calculated for the corresponding inverter gate.
