Abstract:
When a load current (IL) is larger than a prescribed value (Ic), a control device (18) of an uninterruptible power supply device (1) controls an inverter (10) by using a gate signal (Au, Bu) which has a comparatively high frequency (fH) and of which the pulse width is controlled, and when the load current (IL) is smaller than the prescribed value (Ic), the control device (18) controls the inverter (10) by using a gate signal (Au, Bu) which has a comparatively low frequency (fL) and of which the pulse width is fixed. Therefore, it is possible to reduce switching loss caused in IGBTs (Q1-Q4) of the inverter (10) when the load (24) is a light load.
