Abstract:
A power conversion device equipped with a power module 10 which contains a switching element, and a metal case for housing a power module 10 within a plurality of case surfaces, wherein: a perforated metal structure is provided in the range of projection onto the case surfaces of a conductive part exhibiting conductivity among the power module and other components housed in the case; the level of noise produced by switching element operation is equal to or less than a prescribed value in a prescribed frequency band; and the surface area of the perforated metal structure is set in a manner such that the resonance point of the noise falls outside the prescribed frequency band.
