Title:
POWER CONVERSION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/261384
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A power conversion device (1) comprises: an inverter circuit (4) connected between positive and negative terminals of a DC power supply (3); three single-phase bridge circuits (5, 6, 7), each connected in series between a motor (2) and one AC terminal of a mutually different phase of the inverter circuit (4); and a power conversion controller (9A) that generates a gate signal controlling operation of the inverter circuit (4) and the three single-phase bridge circuits (5, 6, 7) on the basis of a phase voltage command. If a semiconductor switching element of a single-phase bridge circuit (5, 6, 7) malfunctions, the power conversion controller (9A) sets the output voltage of the single-phase bridge circuit of the phase to which the malfunctioned semiconductor switching element belongs to zero, and continues operations.
