Abstract:
A power conversion device (1000) comprises: N direct current voltage terminals (VE1-VEN); a converter (100); and a switching control unit (10) that controls switching of a switching element included in the converter (100). At least one of the N direct current voltage terminals (VE1-VEN) is connected to a direct current power source. The converter (100) has: a multiwinding transformer (20) that has N windings (N≥3); and N full-bridge circuits (11-1 to 11-N) that each have a first leg (LG1i), a second leg (LG2i) and a reactor (Li), and that are each connected to a corresponding power source and a corresponding winding. The switching control unit (10) switches switching elements of second legs (LG2i) and first legs (LG1i) included in M full-bridge circuits (11-i) (N-1≥M≥1) among the N full-bridge circuits, switches switching elements of second legs (LG2j) included in the remaining (N-M) full-bridge circuits (11-j), and stops switching of switching element of first legs (LG1j).
