Abstract:
This power conversion device comprises: a first leg in which a first upper arm and a first lower arm are connected in series; a second leg in which a second upper arm and a second lower arm are connected in series; a smoothing capacitor connected in parallel with the first leg and the second leg; a first auxiliary inductor, one end of which is connected to the connection point between the first upper arm and the first lower arm; a second auxiliary inductor, one end of which is connected to the connection point between the second upper arm and the second lower arm; and a smoothing inductor, one end of which is connected to the other end of the first auxiliary inductor and the other end of the second auxiliary inductor. The power conversion device performs power conversion between a power supply system connected between the other end of the smoothing inductor and one end of the smoothing capacitor and a power supply system connected between both ends of the smoothing capacitor. This makes it possible to reduce switching loss while reducing the size of the smoothing inductor, thereby enabling to achieve a reduction in size and an increase in efficiency.
