Abstract:
[Problem] To make it more convenient to determine the status of an electricity-storage device. [Solution] This power conversion system (1) includes an AC-to-DC converter (20) that converts AC power from an AC power supply (10) to first DC power, a DC-to-DC converter (50) that converts the first DC power from the AC-to-DC converter (20) to separate second DC power that has a different power value, and an electricity-storage device (70) that stores the second DC power from the DC-to-DC converter (50). The DC-to-DC converter (50) has a control-signal generation unit (110) that superimposes an AC voltage onto the DC voltage of the second DC power and/or superimposes an AC current onto the DC current of the second DC power, a detection/signal-processing unit (200) that obtains a detected second DC voltage (V2) with the aforementioned AC voltage superimposed thereon and/or a detected second DC current (I2) with the aforementioned AC current superimposed thereon, and a status determination unit (120) that determines the status of the electricity-storage device (70) on the basis of the detected second DC voltage (V2) and/or detected second DC current (I2).
