Abstract:
This power conversion system is constituted by: a power converter 3 connected through an AC reactor 2 to an AC power supply 1 and constituted by a PWM converter 31, a DC capacitor 33, and an inverter 32; a control circuit 6 for controlling the PWM converter 33; and a reactive power control circuit 8 for performing control so that the reactive power of a power system connected to the AC power supply 1 becomes a desired reactive power and supplying a d-axis current command to the control circuit 6. The control circuit 6 controls q-axis current so that the voltage across the DC capacitor 33 becomes a voltage reference corrected by a correction circuit 70 and performs control so that d-axis current becomes the d-axis current command. The correction circuit 70 has a phase-voltage detection circuit for obtaining the fundamental wave phase-voltage Vc of an input voltage of the power converter 3. When the fundamental wave phase-voltage Vc is less than or equal to a threshold value Vc1, the correction circuit 70 outputs the supplied DC voltage reference as it is. When the fundamental wave phase-voltage Vc exceeds the threshold value Vc1, the correction circuit 70 increases the DC voltage reference in proportion to the exceeded amount.
