Abstract:
Provided is a power conversion system equipped with a main circuit and a control circuit. The main circuit has a power converter and an electricity storage unit. The power converter has a pair of DC terminals connected to a DC circuit, a plurality of AC terminals connected to an AC circuit, a plurality of switching elements connected in a full-bridge configuration, and a plurality of rectifying elements connected in reverse parallel with the respective switching elements. The electricity storage unit is connected through a plurality of reactors to the respective AC terminals and connected to one of the pair of DC terminals. The control circuit controls power flows in three directions among the DC circuit, the AC circuit, and the electricity storage unit by turning on/off the switching elements. This provides a power conversion system having a simple configuration.
