Abstract:
This power converter is connected to a transmission line and comprises: an input unit that is electrically connected to a device to which power from the transmission line can be input and/or which can output power to the transmission line; a voltage varying unit that is connected to the input unit and varies voltage; a voltage adjusting unit that is connected to the voltage varying unit and adjusting voltage to the transmission line; a target setting unit for setting a first target value of the voltage varying unit; a voltage monitoring unit that is connected to the transmission line and monitors the voltage of the transmission line; and a threshold determination mechanism that is connected to the voltage monitoring unit and calculates a second target value of the voltage adjusting unit in accordance with the voltage of the transmission line. The target setting unit generates the first target value as an output target of the voltage varying unit in accordance with the voltage monitored by the voltage monitoring unit, and the first target value has a characteristic of changing, in accordance with time, a threshold value for controlling the output of the voltage adjusting unit.
