Abstract:

A ground fault position detection unit (15) detects, based on the difference between current flowing from a power-transmission circuit (13) to a load circuit (16) and current flowing from the load circuit (16) to the power-transmission circuit (13), whether a ground fault occurred on the power-transmission circuit side or the load-circuit side. A contactor control unit opens a first contactor (12) when it is detected that the ground fault occurred at the load circuit (16), and in a case when the ground fault position detection unit (15) detects that the ground fault position is on the power-transmission circuit side, the first contactor (12) is opened and held open even if an operation is performed instructing the first contactor (12) to close.
