Abstract:
A power converter device (20) for wind-power electricity-generation is provided with a power converting unit (21) and a control unit (22). The power converting unit (21) is controlled by the control unit (22) so as to perform a power conversion on electricity generated by a generator (15) due to the rotational force of a wind turbine (14) rotating due to the force of the wind, and supply the electricity to an electric power system (30). Furthermore, the control unit (22) controls the power converting unit (21) so as to use the generator (15) as an electric motor and to control the rotating position of the wind turbine (14).
