Abstract:
Pulses in effective power caused by odd-order harmonic components in the current flowing to an inductive load are reduced is cases where AC voltage is output to the load. Voltage control factor (Ks) of an inverter (4) has a DC component (Ks1) and an AC component (-Ks6・cos (6ωLt)). The AC component has a frequency (6φ/2πt) of six times the base frequency (φ/2πt) of the AC voltage (Vu, Vv, Vw) output by the inverter (4). Even when not only a fifth order harmonic component of load current (iu, iv, iw) but also a seventh order harmonic component is present, the ratio between AC component magnitude (Ks6) and the DC component (Ks1) is set appropriately, and pulses in consumed power caused by the harmonic components can be reduced. The reduction of the pulses contributes to suppression of power source harmonics.
