Abstract:
A Power converter has a programmable component for controlling driving means for providing output power and an interface for receiving a power conversion topology and for programming the programmable component for controlling driving means for providing output power and an interface for receiving a power conversion topology and for programming the programmable component based on the received topology information. This enables an optimum power conversion topology to be implemented and to be updated according to requirements simplifying design and improving efficiency.
