Abstract:
The present invention is an information processing device which efficiently increases the accuracy of power demand prediction. This information processing device is equipped with: an explanatory variable acquisition unit for acquiring, as explanatory variables in a feedforward neural network, at least information pertaining to a target date and time for power demand prediction, weather forecast information for the target date and time, demand history information for each power consumer at the same time on the same day of the week as the target date and time, and the demand history information for each power consumer up to the prediction date and time when power demand is to be predicted; and a power demand prediction unit for implementing the feedforward neural network using the acquired explanatory variables as inputs, and outputting a predicted power demand amount for the target date and time for each power consumer.
