Abstract:
A power distribution device is connected to a system power supply and a storage battery pack and comprises: a first power conversion circuit for converting the DC power discharged from the storage battery pack to the power to be supplied to a load; a first switch for switching between conduction and non-conduction between the first power conversion circuit and the load; and a control unit for controlling the first switch to conduct between the first power conversion circuit and the load. When diagnosing the storage battery pack, the control unit uses the first switch to obtain a non-conductive state between the first power conversion circuit and the load. In this state, the control unit allows the first power conversion circuit to consume the DC power discharged from the storage battery pack, acquires the current value obtained when the storage battery pack is discharged from a fully-charged state to a zero capacity state, and uses the acquired current value to measure the capacity of the storage battery pack that is in the fully-charged state.
