Abstract:
The present invention provides a power-driven tailgate control system and a protection method thereof, for use in controlling a power-driven tailgate. The power-driven tailgate is opened and closed by spindles. A motor drives the spindles. A Hall sensor detects the rotation of the motor. The power-driven tailgate control system comprises a spindle control module and a Hall sensor control module. The spindle control module detects whether the motor is short-circuited to a power source, the spindle control module detects whether the motor is short-circuited to the ground, and the spindle control module detects whether the motor is an open circuit. The Hall sensor control module detects whether the Hall sensor is short-circuited to the power source, the Hall sensor control module detects whether the Hall sensor is short-circuited to the ground, and the Hall sensor control module detects whether the motor is an open circuit. By means of the present invention, real-time monitoring and diagnosis on the state of an actuator is implemented by the power-driven tailgate control system.
