Abstract:
In this power feed system and power feed device corresponding to USBPD, power allocation is efficiently performed on a power reception device. In a state where a first power reception device to an mth power reception device are connected to this power feed device and are fed with power, if an (m+1)th power reception device is connected to the power feed device, the power feed device transmits an (m+1)th list including a combination of voltage and current which can be supplied by the power feed device to the (m+1)th power reception device in a state where power to be allocated from the first to mth power reception devices is maintained, the (m+1)th power reception device selects one combination of voltage and current from the (m+1)th list and requests the power feed device for said combination, and the power feed device supplies the power requested from the (m+1)th power reception device to the (m+1)th power reception device (m is an integer, a relation of 1≤(m+1)≤M is satisfied, M represents the number of USB ports included in the power feed device).
