Abstract:

This power-feeding connector (1) comprises: an engagement mechanism (11) having a pair of engagement members (13, 14) and engaging with a power-receiving connector (2) of an object to be charged; and a notification member (16) that, when the engagement mechanism has engaged with the power-receiving connector, notifies the completion of the engagement by being disengaged from the engagement mechanism and moving from a charge-prohibited position (P1) to a charge-permitted position (P2). When the power-feeding connector is mounted to the power-receiving connector in a state where the notification member (16) is kept in the charge-prohibited position (P1) by engaging with one engagement member (13), the other engagement member (14) and the notification member (16) are first engaged with one another in the course of said mounting, and then said one engagement member (13) and the notification member (16) are disengaged from one another, and when said mounting is continued and the engagement between the power-feeding connector and the power-receiving connector has been completed, the other engagement member (14) and the notification member (16) are disengaged from one another.
