Abstract:
A power-feeding device (100) for supplying first electric power to a power-receiving device (200) via a LAN cable (300) upon receiving the supply of the first electric power from a dedicated external power source (120), comprising: an abnormality detection unit (101) for detecting the abnormality of the dedicated power source (120); an auxiliary power source unit (103) for converting the electric power supplied from a power source circuit (102) that supplies the electric power used by the power-feeding device (100) to the voltage of the first electric power and generating second electric power when abnormality of the dedicated power source (120) is detected by the abnormality detection unit (101); and a power feed switching unit (104) for supplying the first electric power to the power-receiving device (200) when abnormality of the dedicated power source (120) is not detected by the abnormality detection unit (101) and supplying the second electric power to the power-receiving device (200) when abnormality of the dedicated power source (120) is detected by the abnormality detection unit (101).
