Abstract:
Disclosed are a power follower for an electric vehicle, and a control apparatus and method for a power battery, which belong to the technical field of electric vehicles. The apparatus comprises a power battery (1), a power follower (2), a controller (3) and an activation apparatus (4). The controller (3) is used to control a driving mode of the power battery (1) and the power follower (2). The controller (3) is configured to: select, when the remaining electric quantity of the power battery (1) is not greater than a first predetermined value, a second driving mode until the remaining electric quantity of the power battery (1) rises to a second predetermined value; select, when the remaining electric quantity of the power battery (1) is not less than the second predetermined value, a first driving mode until the remaining electric quantity of the power battery (1) is not greater than the first predetermined value; and alternately switch between the first driving mode and the second driving mode. The activation apparatus (4) is used to manually control the numerical value of the second predetermined value according to the requirement of a driver. The control apparatus can reduce oil consumption, prolong battery life and improve energy-saving performance.
