Abstract:
A data input unit 131 inputs prediction data for the amount of solar radiation incident to solar cells arranged at a prescribed location. A conversion efficiency correction unit 132 executes at least either a first correction of conversion efficiency or a second correction of conversion efficiency, said first correction using prediction data for insolation and a first dependence relationship between a pre-derived solar cell conversion efficiency and insolation and said second correction using: a second dependence relationship between the pre-derived solar cell conversion efficiency and the angle of incidence for sunlight; and an angle of incidence estimated on the basis of the solar orbit. A power generation amount prediction unit 136 predicts the amount of power generated by the solar cells, on the basis of the input prediction data for insolation and the corrected conversion efficiency.
