Abstract:
[Problem] To make it possible to further ensure durability under a high-temperature environment without changing the mechanical design specification. [Solution] A power-generation control device which intermittently controls the field current of a vehicular AC power generator to control the power generator output so as to be within a prescribed range is provided with: a restriction-invalidation-signal reception unit which receives, from an external unit, a restriction invalidation signal for the field current; a rotational-speed detection unit for detecting the rotational speed of the power generator; a temperature detection unit for detecting the temperature of the power-generation control device; and a restriction valid/invalid determination unit which, when the restriction invalidation signal is inputted, invalidates the field current restriction under prescribed rotational speed/temperature conditions.
