Abstract:
Provided is a power generation device in which stress concentration at the root section of a piezoelectric conversion vibrator is mitigated and breakage of the piezoelectric conversion vibrator is suppressed. A power generation device (300) comprises a fixing member (100) and a plate-shaped piezoelectric conversion vibrator (200) having elasticity. The piezoelectric conversion vibrator (200) comprises a root section (70) retained by the fixing member (100) and a tip section (80) that vibrates in the plate thickness direction of the piezoelectric conversion vibrator (200) with respect to the root section (70). The root section (70) of the piezoelectric conversion vibrator (200) is retained by the fixing member (100) from a first end section (71A) in the width direction of the piezoelectric conversion vibrator (200) to a second end section (71B) opposite the first end section (71A). When viewed from the plate thickness direction, the boundary (71) between the fixing member (100) and the piezoelectric conversion vibrator (200) in the power generation device (300) is formed with a curve or at least two line segments.
