Abstract:
A power generation device is used, the power generation device comprising a laminate of a first magnetostrictive material having a positive magnetostriction constant and a second magnetostrictive material having a negative magnetostriction constant; a coil wound on the laminate; a connection yoke that connects the laminate and a vibration source; a vibrating plate connected to the other side of the laminate to which the connection yoke is connected; a weight placed on the vibrating plate; a magnet that applies a bias magnetic flux to the first magnetostrictive material and the second magnetostrictive material; and a magnetic-circuit yoke for forming a closed magnetic circuit between the laminate and the magnet.
