Abstract:
Power generation equipment including: a water intake channel for taking in seawater from the sea; a circulation pump for supplying cooling seawater from the water intake channel to a condenser of the power generation equipment; a water gauge for measuring the level of seawater at the inlet of the circulation pump; seawater-utilizing equipment of the power generation equipment excluding the condenser, wherein the seawater-utilizing equipment utilizes seawater and discharges used seawater into the water intake channel; a seawater supply pump for supplying seawater to the seawater-utilizing equipment; and a control device for controlling the seawater supply pump so that seawater is supplied to the water intake channel through the seawater-utilizing equipment when the measured value of the water gauge is less than a preset value.
