Abstract:
Provided are a power generation system and a power generation system control method with which an optimum energy efficiency can be obtained by load sharing control without providing a power turbine with a governor. The power generation system (100) is provided with: a power turbine (7); a steam turbine (9); a power turbine control valve (33); a steam turbine speed-governing valve (37); a load sharing control unit (53) for setting a target output for the steam turbine (9); and a turbine control unit (57) provided with a governor (59) for performing governor control for the steam turbine speed-governing valve (37) on the basis of the target output of the steam turbine (9). The turbine control unit (57) calculates a target output of the power turbine (7) on the basis of the target output of the steam turbine (9) and a load capacity. If power demand is varied, the turbine control unit (57) multiplies an operating speed of the power turbine control valve (33) with a gain set on the basis of a deviation between the target output and an actual output of the power turbine (7).
