Abstract:
Provided is a power generation system which comprises: a plurality of power generation modules (10); and a module-fixing device (20) for fixing the power generation modules (10) to an object (1) to which the power generation modules (10) are to be fixed. Each of these power generation modules (10) comprises: a power generation module main body (101) which has a power generation element that generates DC energy; and a power transmission section (200). The power transmission section (200) comprises: an oscillator (103) which is attached to the power generation module main body (101) and converts DC energy to RF energy of a frequency (f0); and a power transmission antenna (107) which receives input of RF energy and transmits this to a space as a resonating magnetic field. The module-fixing device (20) comprises: a first fixing member (21) for fixing the plurality of power generation modules (10); a plurality of power-receiving antennas (109) which each correspond to one of the plurality of power generation modules (10) and receive at least some of the RF energy transmitted by the corresponding power transmission antenna (107); and a second fixing member (22) for fixing the plurality of power-receiving antennas (109). The outputs of the plurality of power-receiving antennas (109) are combined in a parallel manner by a combining section (30). The power transmission antennas (107) are series resonance circuits in which a first inductor and a first capacitative element are connected in series, and the power-receiving antennas (109) are parallel resonance circuits in which a second inductor and a second capacitative element are connected in parallel. If the oscillator step-up ratio is denoted by Voc, the inductance of the first inductor by L1, the inductance of the second inductor by L2, and the coupling coefficient of the power transmission antennas and the power-receiving antennas by k, (L2/L1)≥4(k/Voc)2 is satisfied.
