Description:
POWER GENERATION SYSTEM WITH GRAVITY FORCE

DESCRIPTION

Technical Field of the Invention

The present invention generates electric energy without requiring any fuel in the energy sector. It relates to a system that generates uninterrupted and continuous energy, such that it uses only gravity and mechanical arms.

State of the Art

Energy generation systems developed until today usually require an external energy source. Conventional systems are classified as clean energy production. The system cannot supply the generated energy in the desired frequency. Therefore, adaptation to all different required frequencies is not possible. Continuous and equally efficient energy generation is not provided at all hours of the days in common systems. Their recycling also takes for many months. Its wastes and gas emissions cause environmental and noise pollution.

On one hand, the motors of the power generation system claimed in the patent application numbered 2019/01011 are air motors, in the new system, on the other hand, the air motors are replaced by electric servo motors.

The operating principle of air motors is based on transforming electric energy into air pressure and transforming air pressure into mechanical energy, and consists of more than one process step. Mechanical energy is directly transformed into electric energy by reducing the number of these process steps with the use of these servo motors. Reducing the number of process steps ensures efficiency and thus ensures to increase the efficiency.

Technical problems aimed to be solved with the Invention

The present invention generates electric energy without requiring any fuel. It generates uninterrupted and continuous energy only by using gravity and mechanical rules. The system does not have a polluting effect on the environment, since the system does not have any waste material and gas omission. The invention operates during the energy generation in a noiseless manner. The system performs generation without requiring any external energy source. The efficiency of the system is 75%. It is able to provide the generated energy at the desired frequency. Thus, easy adaptation to all different desired frequencies is not possible. Continuous and equally efficient energy generation is not ensured at all hours of the days with the system. Investment cost return is between 9 months and 16 months.

Description of the Invention

The system consists of 4 arms; these arms are fixed to a circular plate rotating around a shaft at 90 degrees intervals. There are two cylinders and piston systems at the end of each arm. These cylinders are connected to each other by metal pipes. This cylinder and piston system operates with electric servo motors. The ball screw system located between the motor and the cylinder transforms the rotational motion of the motor into linear motion.

The cylinders on the 4 arms of the system (the ones at 6, 9 and 12 o'clock positions) must be in the closed position and one of them (at 3 o'clock position) must be in the open position. The cylinder in the open position (at 3 o'clock position) is filled with liquid and moves down due to gravity (i.e. from 3 to 6 o'clock), in the meantime it closes the electric motor piston behind the cylinder by pressing and at the same time electric motor at 12 o'clock position opens the motor piston by pulling.

Cylinders comprise an outlet and an inlet section and are connected to the pipes from these parts. The liquid in the cylinder is always transferred upwards namely to the opened cylinder since a check valve is used at the inlet section. Such openings and closings continue regularly, thus the full cylinder, which is always in the 3 o'clock position, allows the whole system to rotate without interruption. The required controls are performed by means of light sensors.

The system continues to rotate continuously after the first energy required for the operation of the servo motors and sensors in the system (by means of solar energy or battery) is provided. The speed of rotation is low due to the length of the arm lengths and the weight of the cylinders, this rotational motion is transferred to the gearbox through a shaft and the required power is obtained through the alternator after the rotation speed increases.

The capacity and efficiency of the system vary depending on the length of the arms and the weight of the cylinders. In general; electric energy between 5 kW and 10 MW can be obtained with the system whose arm length changes between 4.5 m to 25 m.

System power calculation

The amount of cylinder weight applies a torque to the shaft of the system and this amount is calculated as follows:

T— mg xd m: the amount of weight in the cylinder (kg) d: length of the arm (m) t: amount of torque (N.m)

The rotational speed amount is expressed as follows depending on the length of the arms: J— g: gravitational acceleration (m /s 2 ) d: length of the arm (m) w: amount of rotation per second (rad /s) It is calculated how many rotations the system performs in a minute: : time of one rotation (s)

6

Re~ t number of rotations per minute (rpm) The amount of energy obtained in this rotational motion is calculated as follows:

9549

The amount of force obtained from the ball screw: The ball screw transforms rotary motion and force into linear motion and force, and the obtained linear force must be greater than the weight of the fluid in the cylinder.

F = 2.phT_ l

F: linear force (N) h: efficiency (90%)

T: torque applied to the ball screw (N.m) 1 : pitch length (m)

Industrial Applicability of the Invention

The power generation system with gravity force that brings solution to the abovementioned technical problem successfully can be produced in the energy sector and can be widely used in the related fields.
