Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a power generator system, a power generator control device, and a power-generation balance control method for the power generator system which detect, in a vehicular power generator including a plurality of power generators mounted on an internal combustion engine and caused to simultaneously generate power, a reception abnormality at a sub power generator side which can occur when the sub power generator receives a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal from a main power generator. The main power generator performs a duty limiting process on the generated PWM signal for consecutive Y cycles within X cycles by using a duty lower limit value and a duty upper limit value, and transmits the PWM signal subjected to the limiting process to the sub power generator. The sub power generator receives the PWM signal subjected to the limiting process and transmitted from the main power generator as a reception PWM signal. If the sub power generator receives the reception PWM signal consecutively for (XY+1) cycles as a signal indicating a duty lower than the duty lower limit value or a duty higher than the duty upper limit value, the sub power generator determines that there is a reception abnormality.
