Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a power head and a rotary drilling rig. The power head comprises a reduction gearbox; a power input shaft extending into the reduction gearbox; a first power output member being provided in the reduction gearbox and being in gear transmission with the power input shaft; and a torque increasing mechanism being arranged in the speed reduction box and comprising a second power output member. When being transmitted to the first power output member from the power input shaft, the power is further transmitted to the torque increasing mechanism, such that the torque increasing mechanism increases the torque of the power and then the second power output member outputs the power. By integrating the torque increasing mechanism into the reduction gearbox, the output torque of the power head can be increased so as to satisfy the requirement of full-casing construction, the structure can also be simplified, an additional external auxiliary apparatus is not needed, and disassembly and assembly are avoided, thereby facilitating management and control and transportation of a machine. In addition, a transmission gear shaft is used for achieving torque increase, which can simplify the structure, reduce weight and improve structural reliability compared with using a planetary gear mechanism for achieving torque increase.
