Abstract:
This power line carrier communication terminal conforms to G3-PLC and includes a communication unit configured to perform power line carrier communication on the basis of ITU-T G.9903. The communication unit includes a MAC layer and an upper layer. The communication unit is configured such that when the power line carrier communication terminal newly joins the network, if the communication unit thereof receives a beacon response to a beacon request from at least one of the newly joining power line carrier communication terminals, including said power line carrier communication terminal of the local communication unit, then this communication unit sends, from the MAC layer to the upper layer, notification of receiving the beacon response.
