Abstract:
Provided is a power management system with which it is possible to supply power from electricity storage devices and the like installed in various areas to a power demand via a privately managed power line and not a commercial power system, making it possible to utilize power effectively. A power management system (1) of the present invention is provided with: a power conversion unit (101) which is connected in parallel with a distribution line (3) supplying power from a commercial system (2), and which converts power from a power line (4) separate from the commercial system and supplies power to a load (102); a calculation unit (103) which calculates load power information relating to the load; and a control unit (105) which controls output power from the power conversion unit on the basis of the load power information calculated by means of the calculation unit.
