Abstract:
A change in motor torque is requested in order to smoothly switch statuses of a transmission gear interposed between the motor and a drive shaft (S170). Then, when the change in torque cannot be made within the range between input and output limits of a battery (S200), a torque command Tm1* of the other motor is reset so as to be within the range between the input and output limits of the battery (S210, S250), and requested power Pe* is also changed so that the speed Ne of an engine is approximately target engine speed Ne* (S230, S270). As a result, statuses of a transmission gear can be smoothly switched.
