Abstract:

When a hybrid automobile (20) drives in a two-motor drive mode, two motors (MG1, MG2) are connected to a drive shaft (67) by a transmission. In such a mode, either one of the two motors (MG1. MG2) is set as the main motor for outputting power in preference to the other (Step S130), the either of the motors (MG1. MG2) as the main motor outputs power in preference to the other motor (MG1 or MG2) as the sub-motor, and torque commands (Tm1*, Tm2*) for the motors (MG1, MG2) are set so that torque based on request torque (Tr*) is outputted to the drive shaft (67)(Steps S140-S150 or Steps S180-S200).
