Abstract:
A hybrid vehicle (20) includes: an engine (22); motors (MG1, MG2) each capable
of inputting and outputting power; a power distribution/integration mechanism
(40) having a sun gear (41) connected to the motor (MG1), a carrier (45) connected
to the motor (MG2), and a ring gear (42) connected to the engine (22); and a transmission
(60) having a first transmission mechanism formed by a one-speed gear strings
(61a, 61b) and three-speed gear strings (63a, 63b) which can connect the carrier
(45) of the power distribution/integration mechanism (40) to a drive axis (67)
and a second transmission mechanism formed by parallel-axis gear strings (64a,
64b) not used solely for setting the transmission gear ratio.
