Abstract:
Provided is a power outputting device that detects either the state or charged-amount of a battery, and calculates battery-output that can be outputted from the battery. The power outputting device detects the state of a motor, and calculates motor-torque or motor-output that can be outputted from the motor, and the maximum torque of the motor. The power outputting device also detects the state of an engine, and calculates an engine start-up torque necessary for starting-up the engine, based on that state. The power output device also configures an EV-reachable range using just the motor and the engine cut-off, based on the calculated battery-output, either the calculated motor-torque or the calculated motor-output, and the calculated engine start-up torque. In this case, the battery-output, and the motor-torque or motor-output are compared, and the lower thereof is selected; and a range wherein the engine start-up torque is subtracted from the selected torque or output, and a range wherein the engine start-up torque is subtracted from the maximum motor torque, are added, and this added range is configured as the EV-reachable range.
