Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for operating a power plant (22) having a connected air separation plant (10), wherein a first partial power of the power plant (22) is fed into an electrical supply network (28) and a second partial power of the power plant (22) is provided for operating at least one compressor (12) of the air separation plant (10). According to the invention, the sum of the partial powers is constant and, if the second partial power exceeds the power demand of the at least one compressor (12) for delivering the required volume of compressed air from the air separation plant (10), excess compressed air is supplied to a compressed air reservoir (36).
