Abstract:
Provided is a power receiving device which optimizes receiving power by regulating a resonance frequency independently of a power transmitting side so as not to compete with the output control of the power transmitting side. A power receiving device is provided with: a transmitting/receiving unit (2) which includes a resonance circuit having an antenna (2a) for receiving power transmitted from a non-contact charging device (50) and transmitting and receiving data to and from the non-contact charging device (50); a charging control unit (5) which performs power supply control including charging of a secondary battery (6) by the power received by the transmitting/receiving unit (2); and a control unit (3) which generates control state data indicating the state of charge of the secondary battery (6) and/or the state of a power supply of a device body (30) operated by the secondary battery (6) and transmits the control state data to the non-contact charging device (50) through the transmitting/receiving unit (2). The control unit (3) has a power receiving mode in which normal power supply is performed, and a regulation mode in which receiving power is regulated by regulating the resonance frequency of the resonance circuit.
