Abstract:
A power reception apparatus (11) is provided with: a power reception section (200), which moves between a first position (S1) and a second position (S2), and which receives power in a non-contact manner from a power transmission section (56) in a state wherein the power reception section is disposed at the second position; a moving mechanism that moves the power reception section to the first position and the second position; and a detection section (310), which is provided to a vehicle main body separately from the power reception section (200), and which detects intensity of a magnetic field or an electric field formed by means of the power transmission section (56). The second position is diagonally below in the perpendicular direction when viewed from the first position, and the distance from the second position to the detection section is shorter than the distance from the second position to the first position.
