Abstract:
A power reception apparatus (100) receives power in a non-contact manner, said power having been outputted from a power transmission apparatus (10) that is provided with a power transmission coil (11). The power reception apparatus is provided with: a power reception coil (110) that is disposed to face the power transmission coil by being spaced apart from the power transmission coil; a power reception circuit having an input terminal electrically connected to the power reception coil, an output terminal capable of outputting power to a load (20), a matching circuit (120) configured such that the characteristics thereof can be varied, and a rectifier (130); a positional relationship acquiring means (140) that acquires positional relationship information indicating relative positional relationship between the power transmission coil and the power reception coil; an impedance acquiring means (150) that acquires load impedance relating to the power reception coil; and a control means (150) that varies the characteristics relating to the matching circuit on the basis of the positional relationship information thus acquired and the load impedance thus acquired.
