Abstract:
A foreign object detection sensor is provided close to a power reception coil (112). The foreign object detection sensor is accommodated within a metal casing, and a guard coil (126) and a temperature sensor which detects a temperature (T) of the casing are provided within the casing. A phase control circuit (152) controls a phase of a voltage (E4) to be supplied to the guard coil (126), based on a phase of a voltage induced in association with power reception by the power reception coil (112). The phase control circuit (152) further adjusts the phase of the voltage (E4), in a direction in which the temperature (T) decreases, based on a detection value of the temperature sensor.
