Abstract:
Disclosed are a power sourcing management method, device and system. The method comprises: power sourcing equipment receiving an electrification request from a first-level powered device, wherein the electrification request comprises a port identifier of a second-level power sourcing port, with a valid detection result thereof, in the first-level powered device; and the power sourcing equipment determining, according to the electrification request and outputtable power of the power sourcing equipment, a second-level power sourcing port, allowing electrification, in the first-level powered device, and sending an electrification instruction to the first-level powered device, wherein the electrification instruction comprises a port identifier of the second-level power sourcing port, allowing electrification, in the first-level powered device, and is used for instructing the first-level powered device to electrify the second-level power sourcing port allowing electrification. In the power sourcing management method, power sourcing equipment takes a first-level powered device and a second-level powered device connected to the first-level powered device as a whole, and carries out power sourcing control and power management in a unified manner, so that the efficiency of power sourcing management can be improved, and the overheads of the first-level powered device can be reduced.
