Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a power state determination method and apparatus, which are used for determining a power state of a first access point in a power save mode, thereby reducing the power consumption of a transmitting end and a receiving end, and improving the communication accuracy. The method comprises: an access point multi-link device determining the priority of different operations of when a first access point is in a power save mode, and determining a power state of the first access point. The operations comprise one or more of link deactivation, an aperiodic awake request and periodic target awakening. The present application is applied to a wireless local area network system, which supports an IEEE 802.11ax next-generation WiFi protocol such as 802.11be, WiFi7 or EHT, and 802.11 series protocols such as an 802.11be next generation, WiFi8, WiFi AI, and may also be applied to a wireless personal area network system based on ultra-wideband (UWB) and a sensing system based on the UWB.
