Abstract:
Provided is a power storage device binder composition that has excellent adhesion and that can enhance charge/discharge durability characteristics of a power storage device. A power storage device binder composition according to the present invention contains a polymer (A) and a liquid medium (B). If the total of repeating units contained in the polymer (A) is 100 mass%, the polymer (A) contains 1-40 mass% of repeating units (a1) derived from an unsaturated carboxylic acid ester having an alicyclic hydrocarbon group and 45-90 mass% of repeating units (a2) derived from an unsaturated carboxylic acid ester having an aliphatic hydrocarbon group (excluding the unsaturated carboxylic acid ester having an alicyclic hydrocarbon group), and the swelling ratio of the polymer (A) when the polymer (A) is immersed in a solvent comprising a propylene carbonate and a diethyl carbonate with a volume fraction of 1:1 at 70°C for 24 hours is 120-200 mass%.
