Abstract:

The present invention provides a power storage device having high safety and excellent life span characteristics such that a decrease in sealing characteristics can be suppressed even if a pulling force is applied on a housing. This power storage device is characterized by: including a housing having a sealing structure; the housing comprising a first member having a first opening, and a second member; the first and second members being joined at a first joining portion provided at a peripheral edge of the first opening; the first joining portion comprising a first peripheral groove portion and a first socket provided on one among the first and second members, and provided on the other, a first protruding edge portion and a first nail portion provided on a side surface of the first protruding edge portion, and a first adhesive layer; the forward end of the first protruding edge portion being disposed in the first peripheral groove portion and adhered to an inner wall of the first peripheral groove portion by the first adhesive layer; the first nail portion being disposed in the first socket; and the first adhesive layer adhering the forward extremity of the first protruding edge portion to the inner wall of the first peripheral groove portion, in a state in which the side surface of the first nail portion on a side facing away from the forward extremity of the first protruding edge portion, and the inner wall of the first socket on a side facing away from the bottom of the first peripheral groove portion are in contact.
