A power storage device has: a case having a through-hole through which an electrode terminal is inserted; an electrode assembly accommodated in the case; an electrode terminal inserted through the through-hole and electrically connected to the electrode assembly, the electrode terminal having a base part disposed inside the case and having a cross-sectional area greater than the surface area of the through-hole, and a pole column part disposed so as to stand erect from the base part and protrude through the through-hole from the interior to the exterior of the case; a terminal-insulating member inserted between the internal peripheral surface of the through-hole and the external peripheral surface of the pole column part facing the internal peripheral surface; and an annular seal member held between the inner surface of the case and the seating surface of the base part facing the inner surface. The inner surface of the case at the periphery of the through-hole and/or the distal end of the terminal-insulating member on the base part-side has a tapered part that slopes to the outward side in the radial direction of the through-hole, from the base part-side toward the through-hole-side in a cross-sectional shape along the direction in which the base part and the inner surface of the case face each other.
